Factory Scheduled Vehicle Maintenance

Factory Scheduled Vehicle Maintenance in Nevada, TX

Richardson’s Auto Care can help keep your car or truck running strong by following the factory’s recommended maintenance schedule for your vehicle. Many people think they need to take their car back to the dealer for these services, but we can save you money by performing the same services at a reduced cost. By law, the manufacturer cannot void your warranty for not having the services performed at the dealership.

While many people think of needing a “tune-up” on their vehicle every so often, modern cars and trucks have long-lasting platinum spark plugs, and many of the ignition components that used to wear out have been eliminated with modern electronics. Also, computerized fuel injection systems no longer require adjustments to the carburetor or ignition timing. These vehicles have not become maintenance-free though, as there are still fluids and filters that need to be replaced on a regular basis, electronic components that require cleaning to work properly, and timing belts that need to be replaced on mileage intervals.

Every vehicle has a factory-recommended maintenance schedule that goes by time and mileage, and these schedules vary from vehicle to vehicle. At Richardson’s Auto Care, we keep a computerized database of the schedules for every make and model vehicle, and we can help you to keep on top of your vehicle’s maintenance. Since these schedules vary for each vehicle, we will build a maintenance package for your vehicle, rather than sell a set maintenance package that may include unneccesary items or charges.
